Hello 2008 - Happy New Year everyone!

Honda made quite the stir at the Rose Bowl Parade today! Their Honda Ridgeline float "transformed" into a HondaJet with flames shooting out, driven by the Honda Robot! It was a very entertaining highlight to today's parade! Definitely showing the many facets of Honda.  (And none of the flowers caught on fire! Pretty cool!) Honda is a pretty impressive company! Prior to this Ridgeline, I only drove GM's.  Honda Ridgeline is an awesome car/suv/truck!

So my last tank of fuel for 2007 cost $2.959 per gallon. By contrast, the first fillup in January of 2007 was $2.229.

Glas prices are just the tip of the iceberg! Looks like we might be in for a pretty wild ride as we head into a recession. Feds won't admit it yet, but we're heading that way. They may even think they can slow it down or stop it but those measures continue to weaken the dollar overseas. Sooner or later it's all going to catch up with us. Hold onto your wallets! Maryland has already enacted a 20% sales tax increase. Beginning Thursday, Maryland will tax consumer purchases at 6%. Even new Ridgelines aren't exempt!
